Yes, it is possible to temper beveled glass. However, with beveled glass, it is important to take special care of the heating profile and also place the beveled side of the glass so that it faces the rollers.
We don’t recommend mixing different colors in the same load because different colors have different heating absorption. This affects the heating time and final quality of the tempered glass.
Yes, it is possible to add an air flotation section to a continuous tempering furnace to be able to temper 2 mm glass. Glass of 2 mm needs a higher temperature than thicker glasses, so this is why the air flotation section is needed. Also, you need to configure the blower to the required air pressure.
